"Health"

I've known for a while that my body doesn't work quite like it should.  I can't remember a time when I didn't have something going on with my body physically and it has been quite frustrating...and the newest one has begun.  It looks like I may be in possession of one of these devices in the near future...

It's called a Holter monitor and it's for your heart.  It's a portable device that can monitor my hear in a EKG type system.  I may be in the pre-stages of the heart condition that my mom had.  At this point I have seen a general physician and he has gotten blood work started and referred me to a Cardiologist.  He wants me to get a Holter monitor but we'll have to see what the Cardiologist thinks.  I have experienced a progression in heart palpitations and irregular heartbeats that come sporadically.  Hopefully this device can monitor when an episode happens, since a resting EKG will show nothing.  I can't get into the Cardiologist until March 7th so I have to wait until then, but it seems pretty clear what may end up happening.  Luckily, at this point, I'm used to these kinds of things.  I'm not worried about it at all and I know things will get worked out.  If I have another episode before I get the monitor I will probably have to go to the ER to get it recorded, but I will face that when it comes.  It's just another day in the life of me.  I just pray for answers.
