The bookshelf is almost done but it has not been an easy process. I discovered I couldn't just paint it, but had to get gripper to paint on first, along with sanding and a few coats of each. It has taken a lot longer than expected. On top of everything else, I was going to put the last coat of paint on today and dropped the paint can on my deck, causing a stain bigger than I could imagine. Nothing will get it out. I tried for 3 hours. I'm not sure what I'm going to do or what my landlord will say but it is not a good situation. The bookshelf is almost done. Just a few minor touches left but I will be very glad when it is done!

i am sorry your project didnt go as smoothly as you had hoped. next time will be better. i love the purple paint, it adds a little something extra to your porch!!
